Another edition of the Walk a LOT! event took place in Oslo, the capital of Norway. Nearly 50 representatives of Norwegian travel agencies, tour operators, and meeting planners met with representatives of LOT Polish Airlines, Visit Sopot, Visit Gdansk, and ZOPOT Stockholm to learn more about the tourism offer of Gdańsk and Sopot, as well as LOT’s updated route network, with a particular focus on the direct Gdańsk–Oslo connection.

Walk a LOT is a signature initiative of Poland’s national carrier, distinguished by its informal and engaging format. The event’s hallmark is a walk through the city, during which participants learn about LOT’s services and the partner destinations (this year, Gdańsk and Sopot) while answering questions included in a competition form. Following the walk and a shared meal, winners are selected and rewarded with prizes, including LOT airline tickets, which enable them to take part in a familiarization trip to the partner destinations. As part of this year’s edition, five participants will visit Gdańsk and Sopot at the beginning of September.



Thanks to the involvement of SOT partners – Focus Premium Sopot Hotel and 3city Gin Distillery – it was also possible to reward two additional participants during the Oslo event with vouchers for a hotel stay and a gin tasting experience at the distillery.
