Sopot will once again become Poland’s jazz capital. From September 24–26, the Sopot Jazz Festival 2026 will bring three days of encounters with music that knows no boundaries. This year’s programme takes audiences from the most exciting voices of Poland’s young jazz scene to artists who have been shaping the history of jazz worldwide for decades.

This edition will also be special for another reason. After several years as the festival’s artistic curator, Marcin Wasilewski is stepping down from the role. For his final programme, he has created a cross-section of some of the most exciting developments in contemporary jazz — from young artists shaping new directions to acclaimed masters of the international jazz scene.
